Pune transport bus hits seven vehicles at Fatima Nagar, 6 injured | Pune News
1 min readA state transport bus lost control and rammed into seven private vehicles at Fatima Nagar on the Pune-Solapur highway around 8 pm on Tuesday.
At least six persons, including an eight-year-old boy Rajvardhan Walunjkar, who is a resident of Punawale, were injured in the accident.
Police suspect the brakes of the bus failed resulting in the mishap. The process of lodging an offence in the case was on at the Wanavdi police station late Tuesday night.

Police said the bus coming from Sangola to Pune was going towards the Swargate bus depot. The bus hit two cars and five two-wheelers at Fatima Nagar.
After receiving information, a team from Wanavdi police station rushed to the spot. Police detained the bus driver Chandrashekhar Swami for investigation.
The injured were taken to a hospital. Rajvardhan was travelling in one of the cars hit by the bus. He suffered head injuries. Five more persons received minor injuries.
The mishap also caused traffic jam for some time.
